活动背景

In 2021, China was the third largest partner for EU exports of goods and the largest partner for EU imports of goods. The rules and systems of EU customs increasingly affect the business of Chinese companies exporting to the EU, especially in terms of customs clearance and compliance challenges. Since last year, the UK has left the EU customs union, single market, and VAT area. Some companies find dealing with the amended import and export procedures challenging. Meanwhile, data show India’s trade with China has boomed in 2021 thanks to a recovery in demand. Thus, it becomes imperative for Chinese enterprises to understand the customs rules and systems of these countries/regions, as well as solutions of practical problems and compliance suggestions.

Based on this, Ficient Global will hold this online course covering the customs rules, practical problems and case studies of EU, UK and India respectively. This course is intended to be both a general overview of their customs system and an in-depth analysis of the import & export practical issues. It can be a comprehensive guide for enterprises trading with EU, UK and India and will provide the circumstances of some specific cases, such as customs audit, commodity classifications and price valuation. Our instructors are experts from renowned consulting firm and law firm with strong experience in customs and export controls. Learners will be able to thoroughly understand these three countries/regions’ customs systems, know how to react in different situations and remain compliant in daily work.
